We are seeking an experienced Big Data and Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, big data platforms, and enterprise-level data solutions. A critical part of this role is expertise in Cassandra for designing,implementing, and maintaining high performance, scalable data solutions. As a Big Data and Cloud Solution Architect, you will work closely with business and technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of our customers, leveraging the latest in cloud infrastructure and big data technologies. Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native Big Data architectures, with a strong focus on distributed databases like Cassandra, across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Cloud Infrastructure Strategy: Architect highly available, cost-efficient, and resilient cloud solutions, incorporating modern data lake, data warehousing, and analytics technologies.
• Enterprise Data Integration & Modeling: Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to design enterprise-grade data models and oversee seamless integration of diverse data sources into the Big Data ecosystem.
• System Performance & Optimization: Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives, leveraging best practices in Cassandra performance, data replication, fault tolerance, and query efficiency.
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Provide architectural oversight, promote adoption of modern technologies and frameworks, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards across all data solutions.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science
• 10-15 years of experience in BigData, Cloud & Cassandra
• Experience in AWS/GCP would be an added advantage

Skillset

• Deep knowledge of distributed computing with hands-on experience in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Hive.
• Expertise in data architecture, integration, and ETL pipelines, with a strong grasp of both NoSQL (Cassandra) and relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures for scalable, cloud-native deployments.
