SAP PLM Solution Consultant – Implementation Lead – Process Industries

Incerebrum Technologies is hiring an experienced SAP PLM Solution Consultant with strong hands-on implementation experience in Process Industries. The consultant will be responsible for the overall implementation of the project—from requirement gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare—while working closely with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall SAP PLM implementation for the Process Industries client from discovery through go-live and hypercare.

• Conduct business workshops, requirement gathering, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis with key stakeholders.

• Translate business requirements into SAP PLM solution design and drive functional implementation decisions.

• Own configuration, functional design documentation, implementation governance, and solution quality.

• Work closely with SAP S/4HANA and technical/integration teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.

• Drive SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover planning, deployment, and production readiness.

• Identify and manage implementation risks, dependencies, and cross-functional issues.

• Lead the 30-day hypercare period and ensure a structured transition to the support/operations team.

Qualification

• 8-10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong hands-on implementation experience.

• Strong SAP PLM implementation experience in Process Industries is mandatory.

• Good working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with PLM processes.

• Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation where the consultant owned or led key solution/functional workstreams.

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, product development, specification/recipe, or related process-industry business processes.

• Experience across solution design, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

• Strong client-facing communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness to travel to the client location during critical phases of the project.

• SAP S/4HANA and integration with PLM processes.

• Requirement gathering, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis.

• Solution design, configuration, functional documentation, and implementation governance.

• SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

• Risk, dependency, and cross-functional issue management.

• Preferred: knowledge or exposure to SAP Integrated Product Development (IPD); prior hands-on IPD implementation is not mandatory.

• Preferred: experience as an SAP PLM Solution Lead, Functional Lead, or Solution Consultant.

• Preferred: immediate or short-notice availability.
